Cozy authentic french-style patisserie. Delicious pastries, pleasant service, good coffee. An excellent place to relax and enjoy a morning cup.
MoreBest bread and pastries in Forest Hills. I loved their croissant, 🍐 tart and black forest cake.
MoreGreat flan and cortado. Found it while waiting for a friend. Great bakery, a touch of France in Forest Hills
MoreNope. Nope. Nope. Should have went with the negative reviews. Especially the one about old tarts during mother's day . (How can you mess up Such a big holiday??) Fooled by the label " artisan bakery". People, go to Canelle, go to Manhattan, this isn't worth it. C'mon , there are way better french bakeries and less expensive. Almost $4 for croissants but No flakiness. Just buttery. Famed baguette was dry too. Severely disappointed. Local Columbian bakeries also do an excellent job with crossiants and breads. Don't be fooled by the fancy displays. Just don't. It's not worth it.
MoreGreat authentic french bakery! Bread and pastries are incredable. The scrambled eggs as well as the French toast are fresh and equally fantastic! Also try their oatmilk lates!
MoreLove this place. Everything is fresh nothing is pre made or frozen. They even have glass wallsso you can see how clean everything is and so you can see them mixing all the ingredients to make everything.
MoreI came with my puppy yorkie to buy coffee and danish to go. And the guy told me that they do not allow dogs. And my answer was - Can I buy it to go? I guess he was not so happy with that. And when I’ve asked if there is any sign that pets not allowed, he said- no. And he said- that’s why I’m telling you now. At the end he even did not say thank you to me. So, if your place do not allow dogs you should at least put a sign. By the way, my dog is my emotional support and I can take him EVERYWHERE.
MoreEverything is good here. Soup is crave worthy. Makes you feel like you’re in France. Long lines on the weekend.
MoreDelicious cappuccino and croissant. Looks small from outside, but has space to sit, and if you're like me, to work. Cozy and quiet atmosphere. Friendly staff. They don't accept Amex btw.
MoreLove this place. Bread is always delicious and so are the pastries. Staff normally very polite and helpful. I am glad they are still open!
MoreAs soon as you enter you are greeted by fantastic aromas. Fresh bread and pastries that taste like they were baked in France. Homemade soups and crepes as well as sandwiches. A most visit.
Moreyou hunt for a seat. you get a seat. then someone watches, and waits over you so they can get your seat. but friends love the food.no bathroom, no place to wash up.
MoreMy favorite place for my breakfast 🍳
Beautiful pastries and absolutely the best bread in Queens. I drive here from Whitestone whenever I want a really delicious loaf.
MoreHow have I not known about this place. I would give it 100 stars if I could. First of all, wow, this place is just super cozy, staff is phenomenal and the food is just great. Everything is fresh and extremely tasty. It’s very small and you have to share tables but don’t let that turn you away. The pastries are great. The French toast AMAZING, scrambled eggs superb! The aroma in this bakery will make you stay longer than you need to and totally worth it. Went for brunch with my son and his gf, everything we had was just great. No complaints. I was surprised that the portions were a good size. I almost didn’t leave a review because I don’t want to share this place BUT I don’t want to not share it because it’s just that great. Enjoy! This is my new brunch go to.
MoreOkay, I almost hate to share this place. It's crowded already. But, this is my go-to French bakery/cafe, to spend quality "cafe-time" with my husband over a cup of coffee. The American cup of coffee is as big as a bowl! I enjoy the macchiato, more my size. Here you can watch the baker preparing large batches of dough. It's quite interesting and you can appreciate the work that goes into the delicious items that you are eating. There is a big, wood table where you sit with other folks and two small personal tables. The egg dishes are fluffy, get it in a crepe. Or get the scrambled eggs which comes with a side baguette. The salads look fresh and are large. Enjoy, and look for me on my yellow Vespa.
MoreThis place is usually good, but do not order the French toast. Waited for over 40 minutes. Ended up leaving. Staff was extremely rude and didn’t even want to inquire as to why they couldn’t make the toast. Will never be coming back again. This place needs friendlier employees.
MoreIt's was good 😊👍
Great service and food was so good! Such a quaint little shop!
Love this little French bakery! Such good bread and pastries and quiches. We love to stop in for a quiet breakfast. The staff are super friendly. Only let down is sometimes hard to find seating but we have always found somewhere to sit eventually. Love this place, definitely recommend!
MoreLove this local French bakery! The croissant is so yummy. We often bring the croissant home and warm it up to eat. It's delicious! Eating there is also very comfortable, too. The coffees are great!
MoreI had to wait 10 minutes for my croissant due to their Turbo oven not being up to temperature. Other than the wait their products are very good.
MoreHidden gem bakery tucked away in Jackson heights. Creole cake is delicious, and the almond croissants are a great quick bite. Red velvet cake, espresso cake, Pear tart, croissants, cheese danish, St. Honore cake, their bread, their sandwiches.. EVERYTHING is amazing here. Owner used to be the pastry chef at the Waldorf Astoria. Goods are cheap & fabulous!
MoreMy favorite bakery in NYC. Baguette is amazing. They have so many breads I love. Very european style desserts. I wish there are more bakeries like this in NYC.
MoreTasty but felt like a 2nd class citizen...
Always the best. Always get an extra pastry or loaf of bread, extra tip. This place deserves to stay open.
MoreFood is really delicious. The bread and pastries are always fresh. There is limmited seating anf it gets crowded on weekends. Its a little expensive. Expect to spend $10-20 for a small pastry and a coffee.
MoreWonderful staff and quite pleasant. Soup quality taste of home cooking. Very Clean. Down side is way overpriced. 2 soups and tea $30 dollars. 2 coffee and 1 pastry $20. Parking is very difficult. Otherwise 5 stars.
MoreGreat lattes. Awesome meringue. Awesome mini fruit tarts and lemon meringue pies.
MoreI really like this bakery. However, the food here is expensive. They have a nice selection of bread and pastries. I’m a huge fan of the almond croissants, but they run out quickly.
MoreCute, small tasty pastry/bakery that also offers a small selection of hot breakfast.French toast is puffy, crisp on the outside, not too sweet.Pastrami is decent. Scrambled eggs was...Just plain old eggs. The baguette is good but not worth $6!I will return to try their pastry.
MoreAlways fresh and delicious. I usually get the baguettes (crispy on the outside and soft in the middle), the croissants and raisin bread. Their coffee is also good. So glad to have this place in the neighborhood. Oh- the French onion soup is only served on certain days but a MUST!!
MoreAmazing sourdough bread and giant coffee.
Amazing pastries and coffee. Service is speedy. Definitely worth the visit. They also serve various European dish and they have specials each day. Not recommended if staying for more than 20min (seating time limit)
MoreAmazing smells from the baking bread and pastries. There is a little bit of seating, but quite cozy with your neighbors, so leave the strollers at home (or parked out front). Pricey, but worth the indulgence for a fancy cappuccino once in a while.
MoreFun little boulangerie! Good French pastries choices and friendly staff.
Great place for coffee and pastries for breakfast! If you are in Forest Hills and you are in the mood for French baking, this is the spot!
MoreSuper tiny and often crowded, but so pleasant to hang out at when you can get a seat. I’ve only had various coffee drinks and random pastries, but it’s all been great.
MoreGreat bread but the food is a tad overpriced. Croissants/Baguettes/loaves/pastries are overall amazing. Wouldn't recommend the ratatouille though.
MoreThis bakery is a hidden gem! We wanted simple delicious French food and a friend recommended La Boulangerie. Tip: the restaurant is not on Austin street, it's off of 72nd street. They serve great bistro fare in Forest Hills. The meals comes out quick and they expect you to finish quickly ( esp if the bakery is busy.)We ordered the French onion soup, Cuban sandwich, and plain croissant. The soup is this rich onion-rendered, Delicious, cheesy body-warming, French Onion soup. The croutons were toasted before being baked with cheese so there is a contrasting crunchiness with the rich soup and molten cheese. The Cuban sandwich has the fluffiest toasted bread and perfect proportions of ham, cheese and pickle. The almond croissant had buttery soft inside and crispy outer shell. What a delicious meal!
MoreI love it. My son thinks he's the mayor when he walks in. Everyone knows him. Francois did an amazing job keeping the bakery and the product quality as great as day 1. Good luck.
MoreSuper nice neighborhood gem. Everything in there tasted great! It's my go to place when we need any bake goods. Friendly staff and fast moving queue line, what can you ask more?
MoreOrdered 2 crepes only got one, strawberries we're rotten. And to boot they have a attitude.
MoreBest scone, great coffee. No complaint.
This place is AMAZING! There shouldn’t be any negative reviews. Love the soups and the ham and cheese croissant.
MoreWe ordered a large latte, hot chocolate, a croissant, and a Cuban sandwich, which was served on a toasty, crispy baguette. The coffee was rich and dark, the croissant was so fluffy, and the atmosphere was laid back. It's a small coffee shop with a large communal table right in the middle and a couple of tables for two on the side. Each table had either honey or apricot marmalade. The owner of the business even comes around and interacts with the customers. He's friendly and genuinely sweet. Great spot to check out if you're in Forest Hills and need a coffee break.
MoreNice lunch menu. Had the quiche which came with a side salad
They have great pastries, but I find that the place is overpriced. $6 for a plain croussant+tea.
MoreThe pastries and bread are amazing. The staff is generally friendly and I believe the owner takes pride in his work. I can't comment on the fresh meals they offer yet.
MoreThere desserts tastes fresh and delicious. They have seating. Moderate price. Cute place for meet with a friend , date or just to have coffee and dessert.
